Naming a business is similar to naming a child. In 2015, I started with a list of names. One by one I crossed names off the list until I found the perfect one.

Rejuvenate carries a powerful symbol of renewal, vitality and transformation.
It shares a message that women have the power to revitalize and bring new energy to their body, mind and spirit.
As a stylist and lash artist, I witnessed the renewed energy my clients had after receiving services. I craved the ability to offer more options for more women, I wanted to create community and connection with my clients. My passion for learning and growing and improvement collided with the limited space at the salon I was at, and thus Rejuvenate Salon & Spa was born.
Rejuvenate Salon & Spa has empowered women to nourish themselves like they would nourish their child. Reinforcing the idea that women are capable of not only creating and nourishing families, but also their own wellness.
A year into my venture I brought on new team members to help grow our community and connections. In 2019 I recognized the need for stylist mentorship in our industry and launched the Empowerment program for stylists. I was most excited about the shift we could create in the salon environment creating a space that lifts each other up.
The program fostered a sense of community and reshaped perceptions of the beauty industry. The movement encouraged our team and clients to challenge the status quo and promote a positive inclusive salon and spa experience.
Then, in 2020 I pivoted my business in response to the challenges posed by the pandemic, demonstrating adaptability and resilience. I took our team Empowerment program online and worked to show our client community that even in the face of adversity, it’s possible to overcome obstacles.
Inspired by my clients, I remained present for our community and gave women options for maintaining their beauty routines from the comfort and safety of their own homes. We showed up with virtual sessions, color kits and nail care kits to offer confidence and the best possible experience, even during challenging times. Not only did we survive, but we thrived.
Our team and client community adopted the mindset of resilience and adaptability knowing we can do hard things and come out on the other side.
Fast forward to 2022-not only did we survive, but we thrived. Clients adopted a mindset of resilience and adaptability in their own lives, knowing that they too could navigate challenges and come out on the other side. We anticipated three new mentor trainers as we continued to grow our team and mentorship.
Fast forward to 2023, a year that symbolizes transformation and growth for my clients, staff, my company and myself.
As I was being inspired by my clients to guide them on their journey to become well, my team was daring to dream bigger. Their visions evolved, creating the same dream I had years ago- a dream of opening businesses of their own. Just like my staff, my client community were creating positive changes and evolution in their lives. I also was on my own personal health journey.
With the stress of everyday expectations, changing body and health needs, I was learning and working to create a meaningful connection and balance with my mind and body. With growth and change, I realized this is the work I love to do. I work to help others find empowerment, resilience and create connections. And I continue to create an environment where women can care for their bodies well.
Now, in 2024, I’m unveiling a new creation for Rejuvenate, Rejuvenate Spa.
Through my own experiences and journey, I’ve discovered a deeper connection with my clients. They have joined me in the movement where women prioritize self-care and wellness and recognize this is a collective effort. So many women live lives of chronic high-stress, navigating each day like it's an agenda to check off the list, feeling isolated and stuck.
Belonging to a larger community of women who share similar values and goals is helping them to feel inspired to support and uplift each other in their wellness journeys, creating a ripple effect of positive change and empowerment.
They are able to be their authentic selves and engage in self-care practices that nourish their body, mind and spirit without guilt, shame or fear of judgment.
